Microwave Assisted Synthesis of Ionic Liquids with its Applications as CO2 Capture & Antimicrobial Activity

Synthesis of ionic liquids by using microwave irradiation shows application of green chemistry principles for the development of cleaner processes. Microwave irradiation is rapid, safe, highly efficient, solvent free process to obtain various ionic liquids. By using cations like (N-heterocycles) imidazole, triazole, pyridine, piperidine, pyrrolidine and guanidine with fluoroboric acid different ionic liquids are prepared.

Essential oils from natural can be done by two methods i.e. by distillation and solvent extraction in a broad way which are also known as volatile oils or hydrophobic liquids. Distillation method further classified into Fractional Distillation, vacuum distillation, steam distillation, etc. Solvent extraction is done by using different organic polar solvents and non-polar solvent combination for phase distribution which leads to oil separation properly.

In vitro micropropagation techniques for (Musa spp) Banana grand-9 variety

It investigated the possibility of clonal banana propagation by tissue culture. Shoot tips isolated from the rhizomes were found to be sufficient for the in vitro development of plantlets. Excised shoot tips formed only one plantlet with the youngest leaves, but shoot tips regenerated several plantlets with several older sheathing leaf bases enclosing the axillary buds. A new crop of multiple shoots was produced by individual shoot lets, when separated and sub-cultured.

Isolation of Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria’s (PBSs) from soil and to estimate the amount of phosphate imbibed in the reservation granules by Fiske–Subbarow (F-S) method

Phosphate solubilizing microorganisms (PSMs) are one among the biofertilizers, because of their potential to convert insoluble phosphate to a soluble form by hydrolysis, by which the plants are able to gain phosphate readily. The process of hydrolysis of insoluble phosphate to soluble form is very clear whereas the amount of phosphate reserved in the cell is still missing. Reservation compounds are diverse by having a multiple chemical nature; they play a major role in phosphate storage, structural, biochemical by regulatory function. The most common phosphate reservoir includes polyPhosphate and Teichoic acid. In the present work, we have isolated the PSMs from soil and estimated the amount of phosphate imbibed in the phosphate storage/reservation granules by Fiske- Subburows method (F-S).

Isolation, Screening and optimization of lipase producing Staphylococcus spp. from oil mill soil

Lipases involve an unmistakable spot as biocatalysts and have an expansive range of biotechnological applications. The security of these proteins in natural solvents has driven them into outskirts regions of natural combination prompting the planning of novel medications, surfactants, bio responsive mixes, and oleochemicals.. In the present study, bacterial cultures were isolated from various sources of which 8 were found to be positive for lipase production. All these 8 isolates were screened by their zone of hydrolysis observed on the Tributyrin agar plate.

Review on Primary Brain Tumor Diagnosis and Treatment Strategies

The brain tumor accounts for 2 percent among all cancers in adults from across the globe. The most common brain tumor is glioblastoma multiforme, and patients with this type of tumor have a poor prognosis. The exposure to high ionizing radiation has only proven to be a one of risk factor for brain tumor. The classification of brain tumor is done depending upon their cellular origin and histological appearance. The typical symptoms of brain tumor include headache, seizures, nausea, vomiting, neurocognitive symptoms, and personality changes as well. The diagnosis of brain tumor is done by imagining and is confirmed by study of histopathology. Any person with chronic, persistent headache in association with protracted nausea, vomiting, seizures, change in headache pattern, neurologic symptoms, or positional worsening should be evaluated for a brain tumor. MRI is used technology for the primary imagining study of sample.

COVID-19 is the most dangerous and destructive pandemic in human history. Since its outbreak, millions of people worldwide had lost their lives through its rapid spread in over 100 countries. It is officially designated as severe acute respiratory syndrome related corona virus (SARS-CoV-2). Although there were many other related strains in past that causes mild COVID symptoms but this pandemic requires the rapid development of vaccines and medicines for its cure. Out of all technology-based methods, plant-based technologies have proven to be more efficient and promising for combating SARS-CoV-2 and related strains. Plant expression systems can be used for the rapid production of effective medicine and chemicals. Plants can be used as stably transformed plants and transiently-transformed plants. Plants can also be used as oral vaccines for transferring antigens or antibodies (passive immunization) in the human body and in the diagnosis of viral antigen and antibodies as well.

Corona virus disease which was originated in Wuhan back in 2019has affected badly on public health. Recently ,a new variant of same covid 19 has been detected in south Africa and is resulting into increase in the number of cases .WHO designated omicron under the category of variant under monitoring on 24 November 2021 and in next two days on 26 November2021 the omicron was kept under variant of concern .This variant is having mutations in spike receptor binding sites this variant also shares number of mutation with previously available variant of concern due to which immediately raised global concerns about viral transmissibility and , pathogenicity .Here we described regarding discovery and characteristics of the Omicron variant and the mutations of the spike in the five Variants of concern, and further raised possible strategies to prevent and overcome the war against the omicron virus .
